ADA(Vic) is pleased to offer our Members an opportunity to hear from true Canberra insiders, Lunik Communications, about the upcoming election, it’s potential impact to SMEs, and a dissection of the various defence industry promises made by both sides of the aisle. Given the emphasis that the current government has placed upon the Defence Industry sector and its’ ability to facilitate direct-to-market global exports, any significant policy shifts have the potential to seriously impact our community.
Lunik is a full service, bipartisan public affairs and strategic communications firm with offices in Canberra and San Francisco. At the helm are Emily Minson and Zack McLennan, who founded the company in 2016 after several years working in government, and in the public affairs and communications sectors.
Zack has worked across defence, Fintech, higher education, mining and energy, and health. His clients have ranged from industry bodies such as Universities Australia and the Infant Nutrition Council, overseas multinationals including Naval Group and Intel as well as not-for-profit advocacy groups like the George Institute and the Cancer Drugs Alliance. His policy expertise rages from sovereignty in Australian defence industry, the interpretation of World Health Organisation guidelines, and the government response to the rapidly developing blockchain and digital currency sectors. Prior to his work in consulting he worked for a number of state and federal parliamentarians.
